It a development regarding the long awaited iPad 2 jailbreak, it turns out that the developer of the PDF based exploit for iPad 2 jailbreak, Comex has updated the jailbreakme.com website. The updated website hints at an imminent iPad 2 jailbreak release, soon.
Don't understand the mumbo jumbo that you see in this image? Basically, these are the git commits that Comex has uploaded on the jailbreakme.com website which will pretty soon be used to jailbreak iPad 2. Git commits are basically used to remember what change in the source code was made by whom and when exactly that change was made. Consider git commits to be a log that one can go through to see what changes have been made to a particular code.
As far as JailbreakMe 3.0 iPad 2 jailbreak is concerned, Comex has already teased it and we know that it is going to be a PDF based exploit which will only jailbreak iPad 2 running firmware up to iOS 4.3.3. There is going to be no iPad 2 jailbreak for iOS 5, as yet. Also, it has been advised that you save iOS 4.3.x SHSH blobs of your iPad 2 if you want to jailbreak it using JailbreakMe 3.0, as iOS 5 downgrade to iOS 4.3.x is going to be impossible.
No word from Comex has been received as yet, regarding iPad 2 jailbreak release. Though as you can see, jailbreakme.com website says that "its been far too long." Another teaser. Any guess on when Comex will make JailbreakMe 3.0 live for everyone to jailbreak their iPad 2? Weeks, days or hours? Drop a line in the comments and let us know what you think!
