About an hour ago, Apple released iOS 5 beta 4 as well as iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for developers. Now what do non-developers that have the urge to try out beta firmware do? They use these direct download links for downloading iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for free on their Windows and Mac computers!

Note: Beta firmware and software is intended for developers. Don't trying upgrading to beta firmware if you don't have the slightest idea of what you are doing. Also, please ensure that you know the drawbacks to installing beta firmware and software before you so happily proceed to download it.

You will need to re-sync your photos with iTunes when you upgrade to iTunes 10.5 beta 4 from the previous iTunes 10.5 beta 3 which was released with support for iOS 5 beta 3 about 12 days ago.

Also, if you have been using Wireless Sync with Mac, please keep in mind that you will need to download iTunes 10.5 beta 4 and upgrade to it before you can use Wireless Sync between iTunes and your iOS device that by now should be running iOS 5 beta 4, considering the fact that it is an OTA update and can be availed by those running iOS 5 beta 3 on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

      I agree, but i seriously doubt that Lota Man got iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for Windows that is currently not available for the public (not even the developers). Both the 32 and 64 bit versions are about 80mb and shouldn’t take ages to upload if he really got them. It’s more likely that he pretend to have them already and hoping for them to be available shortly so he can upload.

          I’m running iOS 5 beta 4 on my devices. I have iTunes installed. I fail to understand why you guys can’t be patient. I just finished uploading ALL iOS 5 beta 4 ipsws. Uploading takes time. Please appreciate and show some patience.

          Not very likely as i said since the iTunes beta 4 for Windows is not yet available. Also he already finished uploading iOS that is much more data to upload, but still managed to upload iOS a lot faster than iTunes beta 4 for Windows that he claim to have. iOS download links are available everywhere, but iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for Windows are nowhere to find. It’s not hard to figure why…..because no one have the iTunes beta 4 for Windows yet.

    Unless I’m being scammed, I’m downloading iOS 5 beta 4 torrent now. But I agree with Morte Di Dio: be patient … no need to be insulting, gax … if YOU’VE got it then YOU upload it, otherwise chill out, life will go on whether you get the updates in five minutes or five hours, or wait till September to get it like — gasp — normal people.

      iOS 5 beta 4 and iTunes beta 4 for Windows are two different things. No one is being insulting here, but when someone claim to have something that doesn’t exist why would it be insulting to say so? If he really had iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for Windows don’t you think it would have uploaded by now? Don’t you think it would have been possible to find other places as well?
      And btw i don’t need iTunes 10.5 beta 4 and didn’t ask for it. I just state the simple fact that someone brag about having the iTunes beta before it’s even available. That’s like me saying i got iOS 5 GM which would be BS. Is it insulting to say that someone is telling fairy tales when they actually are? Why not just say that he don’t have the Windows version yet instead of trying to convince everyone it takes 50 hours to upload 150mb.

      iTunes 10.5 beta 4 for Windows is actually available now for anyone with a developer account. So i guess it should be possible to find some links for those without a developer account as well by now.

    I upgraded to beta 4 OTA and lost my pictures. When i sync with itunes beta 3 the pictures dont come across. Do i have to wait for itunes beta 4?

    iTunes 10.5 beta 4 (for Windows) hasn’t been released to developers yet. I updated to iOS 5 beta 4 OTA, only to find that my iPhone has authorization issues with iTunes 10.5 beta 3. All of these sites that say that the ‘upload is pending’, seem to just be trying to steer traffic to their websites.

    Easy fix . People that have their uDID registered . Just Restore to iOS 5 Beta 3 . and do a wireless update through ur ipod touch or iphone or what ever you have . beta 3 is the only 1 that they allowed over the air update .

    Attention you need an Developer Account to proceed the login. The Windows Files aren’t visible in the iCloud Download division yet. I’ve taken the Mac link and changed a little bit the link and I had success!!

    i have itunes 10.5 beta. when the official itunes software of 10.5 comes out, will my computer detect that the official software of 10.5 came out? if it did, will it work and NOT delete any of my music and app content? i am asking this because im going from 10.5 BETA to an official software.
